“Green Cookware” Starts with a Green Manufacturing Facility

Americraft Cookware is the manufacturer of our newest line, 360 Cookware. Americraft Cookware is a major advocate of “green cooking&rdquo which is why we begin with a foundation of green production designed to protect the planet and sustain its resources. At Americraft Cookware, we have been a forerunner in the environmental movement because we believe in it. After all, keeping our planet healthy helps keep our food healthy. It is the cycle of clean living that inspired our line of stainless steel Vapor® Cookware.

Humming along peacefully in West Bend, Wisconsin, the Americraft Cookware facility was built from the ground up to both utilize and preserve nature’s resources. The plant’s large, energy-efficient windows bathe the interior with natural light to conserve electricity. Renewable wind power generates electricity to our machines.

Our closed-loop dust collection systems filter the air internally to prevent volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from entering the environment. No harmful chemicals are used in the manufacturing process and our water is purified using a state-of-the-art reverse osmosis de-ionized treatment system and neutral detergent. Wastewater is tested routinely to ensure complete compliance with strict local and state standards.

Our plant uses roughly half the energy of a standard manufacturing facility and creates no toxic residue. We know our green practices are important to our more than 9000 employees and also to our customers, who understand that healthy living depends on a healthy, sustainable environment.
