Americraft's Green Efforts Recognized by EPA
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) Green Power Partnership has recognized Americraft for its purchase of “green power.” One hundred percent of Americraft’s energy usage is generated from wind — an environmentally preferable renewable resource.
The Green Power Partnership is a voluntary program that encourages organizations to use green power as a way to reduce the environmental impacts associated with conventional electricity use. Using green power accelerates the development of new renewable energy capacity nationwide and helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the power sector.
Americraft’s commitment to environmental responsibility has also been recognized with a Green-e Certification, is a Green America Approved Business and is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council.
Owner and CEO, Bryan Hurley states, “We were green from the beginning. Not because it’s cool, but because it’s the right thing to do. Manufacturing any other way is not an option.
