Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large bowl mix together melted butter and sugar. Add in eggs and vanilla until smooth. Mix in molasses until well combined.
Mix in all-purpose flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger and cloves to batter until consistency is smooth. Cover and chill for 15-30 minutes in the fridge.
Take refrigerated cookie dough and scoop large scoops (around 1 1/2-2 tablespoons) and place onto prepared baking sheet 2 - 21/2 inches apart. Flatten the top with a flat bottom of a glass.
Bake for 8-10 minutes. Let cool for 1 minute and transfer to a cooling sheet. While cooling make cream cheese filling
Whip together cream cheese, melted salted butter, powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Fill each cookie and top with another, serve & enjoy!
