Ingredients
-
7 pound pork butt or pork shoulder
-
1 red onion very thinly sliced
-
1 cup vegetable broth
-
1/4 olive oil olive oil
-
1 tablespoon sea salt
-
2 teaspoons black pepper
-
1 tablespoon paprika
-
2 teaspoons garlic powder
-
1 teaspoon onion powder
-
1 teaspoon chili powder
-
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
-
2 teaspoons cumin
-
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
Directions
Taking your 360 Cookware slow cooker place the pot onto the stove top on medium heat. Add olive oil and let fully heat. Add in onion to sear for 2-3 minutes.
While onion cooks add all seasoning & brown sugar above to a bowl and mix together. Full press into all sides of the pork. Push onion to side of pot and in pork butt. Sear on both sear around 5 minutes until a nice crisp forms.
Once done add the pot onto the slow cooker base. Pour in broth and add lid and cook on 3 or 4 until pork starts to fall apart. Around 5 hours. I turn mine about half way though. Pull apart and blend together. Serve as desired & enjoy!
