Smashburger Sliders, 3 Ways

Directions

1. Preheat your stainless steel griddle pan and 7” fry pan on medium low heat

2. Take the ground beef and form into 12 evenly sized meatballs and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

3. Slice the onion. Add a tablespoon of butter to your 7” fry pan and caramelize the onions.

4. While the onions are cooking, mix up your spicy sauce by combining ¼ cup of mayonnaise, ½ tablespoon of dijon mustard, ½ teaspoon of ketchup, ½ tablespoon of pickled jalapeno brine, ¼ teaspoon of paprika, and ½ teaspoon of cayenne pepper. Set aside.

5. Place four of your ground beef meatballs on the preheated griddle at a time and smash them down using a metal spatula. Season with salt and pepper.

6. After about 2-3 minutes per side, flip. You should have some nice browning on the burgers. Top with cheese on the second side to let it melt. Place american cheese on top of eight patties and white cheddar on four patties.

7. To assemble the Classic Cheeseburger Smashburger, place your American cheese patty on a slider roll and top with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, and any other desired toppings.

8. For the Caramelized Onion & BBQ Smashburger, place a white cheddar patty on a slider roll and top with caramelized onions and a dollop of barbeque sauce.

9. For the Spicy Smashburger, place an American cheese topped patty on a slider bun. Top with pickled red chile peppers and the spicy mayonnaise sauce mixture.
