Spicy Beef Bowls with Coconut Broth

Products used: 10” Fry Pan; 2 Quart Saucepan with Cover

Ingredients

1 pound of lean ground beef
½ of a yellow onion
½ of a red or orange bell pepper
1 tablespoon of minced garlic
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
2 tablespoons of honey
1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
1 tablespoon of crunchy garlic chili sauce or chili crisp
½ teaspoon of ground ginger

1 ½ cup of lite coconut milk
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of crunchy garlic chili sauce
½ teaspoon of ground ginger
Directions
Preheat your stainless steel fry pan on medium low heat for a few minutes.
Once the pan is preheated, saute your ground beef until cooked through, then add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and garlic and saute until softened.
Add the soy sauce, honey, crunchy garlic chili sauce, and ground ginger to the pan and mix. Simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
In a saucepan, combine the coconut milk, soy sauce, crunchy garlic chili sauce, and ground ginger. Bring to a boil.
Serve the ground beef with jasmine rice, and top with the coconut broth. Garnish with cucumber, green onion, red chili peppers, sesame seeds, and other toppings as desired.
