- Hi Roger, The 8 quart will not fit on the slow cooker base. We have 3 stockpot sizes that fit it, the 2.3 quart, the 4 quart, and the 6 quart gourmet.
- Is sitting # 4 temperate hot enough for deep-frying chicken with the 2.3 casserole pan on slow cooker base?

- Will the regular 6 quart stockpot fit the slow cooker base or only the Gourmet 6 quart stockpot? What is the difference. I am confused. Also, will the 4 quart stockpot fit the slow cooker base. Thanks
- Thank you for reaching out to us. Our 6 quart stock pot won't fit on the slow cooker base. However our 6 Quart Gourmet Stock pot will fit in the slow cooker base for you. The difference is the bottom of the pot. The 6 qt gourmet stock pot has a tapered bottom to allow it to fit on the burner. Our 4 quart stock pot will fit on the slow cooker base as well. They share the same base for our 6 qt gourmet stock pot, 4 quart stock pot and 2.3 qt casserole pan. Please let me know if i can help with anything else. Have a great day!
